that they could not locate there. and they always bring back the cheque to
them. the last time i asked them about the cheque, they said it went to a
wrong address unknowingly.so please dont blame me. but i have decided to

He sent me a cashiers check for over the amount of
the saddle asking me to cash it on arrival and send
the remainder of the money via International
Moneygram to him. I was suspicious so I pointed this
out to a bank representative who thankfully advised
me to not send any money until the check had
cleared, even though a large portion of the money
was made available that day. Of course the check was
counterfeit and my account was closed. So be

the internet scam you have posted on
BAEN. Although I suspected it was a fraud all
along I gave the buyer the benefit of the
doubt. I was contacted by a "mike
Johnson" of the UK, he told me had was a
horse dealer with offices throughout Europe.
He wanted to purchase one of my warmblood
horses. We agreed on a price, he told me he
had a client in the US who owed him money (I
was immediately suspicious then). His client
would send me a cashier's check for my amount
plus $8000 more. He asked me to send him the
balance. I told him the check would have to
clear my bank before anything proceeded. As I
suspected, (in addition, when I made the
deposit I informed the bank teller I was
suspicious about the authenticity of the
check) it was counterfeit, but the bad part is
the bank now thinks I'm passing counterfeit
checks and shut down both of my
accounts!
